Save Hammersmith and Fulham Hospitals

July 9, 2012

The community campaign to Save Hammersmith and Fulham Hospitals gathered pace on Friday when 30 volunteers met to decide how to take it forward following the previous week’s meeting, which was attended by over 250 local residents.

Everyone agreed on the need for a unified voice for Hammersmith and Fulham to protect both our hospitals. We stressed the need to work with other groups, both in our borough and beyond, to preserve our local health service.

Members of different political parties were present and all agreed that this campaign should reach across all political parties and beyond. Saving our hospitals is literally a life and death issue. It affects every member of our community and should not be a political football.

We agreed that the campaign would set up its own independent website to ensure that people have easy access to news about the campaign, and information on how they can help.

As soon as the website goes live, I will publish details of it here. Until then, I will continue to update my website with news and information.
