The Labour Party have launched a national campaign themed around the Missing Million and the changes to electoral registration.
There are hundreds of thousands of people across the country who risk losing the right to vote as a result of David Cameron’s changes to the voter registration system.
Activists across the country will be spreading the message to homes where people are not on the electoral register that this change has occurred and will be informing them how they can sign up to make sure they are not negatively affected.
We are taking action because the Government have ignored independent advice from the Electoral Commission to wait until the end of 2016 to fully implement Individual Electoral Registration, so that any difficulties could be ironed out.
What can you do to help? Most people about to lose their vote have not realised. But it's actually really easy to register in a few minutes at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. If you live in Hammersmith, Fulham or Shepherd's Bush, then have a look at the Electoral Services work that the local authority are doing here.
Let's make some noise to make sure people know what's at stake.
Now, I would be very grateful if you would forward this page to your friends and family, or share this graphic on Facebook, or share on Twitter.
